Wilma Wright

Wilma Marie Wright, age 87, of LaCygne, Kansas died Wednesday August 3, 2011 at the Vintage Park in Osawatomie, Kansas. She was born at LaCygne on December 29, 1923 the daughter of Eldon H. and Flora "Betty" Lee Stites. She graduated from LaCygne Rural High School and married Norvin Wright on May 20, 1956. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1990. Wilma was also preceded in death by a brother Robert Lee Stites. She was a member of the LaCygne United Methodist Church and UMW, she was involved in the LaCygne Historical Society, LaCygne Alumni Association and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by a nephew Alvin Stites and wife Rolleen and niece Naomi Simmonds and husband John other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday August 6, 2011 at the LaCygne United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery in Blue Mound, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne. The family suggests contributions to Vintage Park, or the LaCygne United Methodist Church.
