Wilma Pauline Neal, age 85, Mound City, Kansas died Tuesday September 27, 2011 at her home. She was born on July 7, 1926 the daughter of William Paul and Mary June Willis Jones. She graduated from Mound City High School and married Paris Junior Neal on September 9, 1944 at Mound City. Wilma attended Mound City United Methodist Church and was a member of Wesley Chapel Women's Group, Sugar Mound Arts & Crafts, American Cancer Society, Linn County Chapter, American Legion Auxiliary, and Rainbow EHU. She was preceded in death by her husband Paris Junior Neal, two brothers, Gib and Bob, three sisters, Dora, Violet, and Thelma, one grandson Jacob, and a great grandson Skyler. Wilma is survived by two sons, Dale and Bruce Neal of Mound City, five daughters: Katherine Clay of Mound City, Carolyn Stokes of Mound City, Carmen Self of Mound City, Mary Lena Fox of Cameron, Missouri, and Wilma Loretta Bayless of Prairie Village, Kansas; two brothers; Darrel and Buck Jones; five sisters: Loree Long, Margaret Allison, Shirley Stogsdill, Elaine Yokum and Irene Jones; twenty grand, twenty-one great and three great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday October 1, 2011 at the Mound City First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City.
