Wilma Fern Bollinger Harrison, 98, of Washington, DC, died September 11, 2004. She was born January 17, 1907 in Mapleton, Kansas, the daughter of Peter Washington and Eva May Findley Bolllinger. Wilma received her Christian baptism at the age of 13, in Kaw City, Oklahoma. After completing high school and a one year course at A&M College in Stillwater, Oklahoma, she attended Chillicothe Business College. She moved to Washington, DC to work for the U.S. Civil Service, where she met and married John Ward Harrison on September 9, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1974. Also preceding her were her parents and two brothers, Harold and Frank Bollinger. Wilma was cremated. Her cremains will be inurned at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Mapleton Cemetery in the family plot next to her husband, John Ward Harrison.
