William Buchanan

William E. Buchanan, age 87 of Liberty, Missouri died Saturday July 3, 2010 at the Ashton Court Nursing Home in Liberty, Missouri. He was born on December 25, 1922 at Carrollton, Missouri the son of Thomas and Lydia Tyler Buchanan. He married Agnes Graham on March 27, 1944 at Pittsburgh, Kansas. William worked and retired from General Motors Corporation as a utility man. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Robert Buchanan, and a sister; Lillie Phillips. He is survived by his wife Agnes of Liberty, Missouri, a son; William "Eddie" Buchanan and wife Debbie of Liberty, Missouri, a granddaughter; Jennifer Peterson and husband Todd, and one great grandson Tyler Peterson. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday July 7, 2010 at the Hume Cemetery Hume Missouri. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to service at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Pleasanton, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation.
