William Basore

William Ray, Bill, Basore, age 70 of Miami, Oklahoma formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas died Saturday March 17, 2012. He was born on January 6, 1942 at Rich Hill, Missouri the son of Claude and Doris Lacy Basore. He graduated from Pleasanton High School. Bill was employed as a truck driver and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Miami. He was preceded in death by his father Claude, infant daughter Kimberly, brother Tom, grandson, Austin and nephew Keith. He is survived by his wife Linda Basore of Miami, two sons, Vince Basore of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mark Hemphill of Miami, a daughter Michelle Milford of Miami, four brothers: Bob, Gary, Jack, and Ronnie Basore, one sister, Betty Maschler, twelve grandchildren: Rachel, Lacy, Ashlyn, William, Destrie, Amber, Mitch, Amanda, Juston, Tyson, Noah, and Sarah, and four great grandchildren: Ethan, Emilie, Stephen and Brooklyn. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday March 20, 2012 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
