Wanda Shadden

Wanda L. Shadden, 67, of Osawatomie, Kansas, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Olathe Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1938 in Brinkley, Arkansas, the daughter of Affie and Anna Reynolds Joles. She married Raland Shadden on April 18, 1957. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2004. She was an avid racing fan, especially of her nephews and grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Robert Joles and two sisters, Colene Cowden and Ole Belle McDaniels. Survivors include one son, Billy Shadden of Osawatomie, Kansas; three daughters, Anita Brown and Diane Shadden, both of LaCygne, Kansas and Annette Miller of Paola, Kansas; one brother, Enoch Joles and one sister, Fanchion Shadden, both of Mound City, Kansas; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2006 at the Prescott Cemetery, Prescott, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Dialysis Center, Butler, Missouri.
