Walter Thatcher

Walter Andrew "Andy" Thatcher, 57, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. He was born September 23, 1953 in Appleton City, Missouri, the son of Walter and Clidenna Springer Thatcher. He graduated from Pleasanton High School and attended Barber College. Andy had barber shops in Pleasanton, Kansas and Hume, Missouri. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church. He enjoyed playing music, playing guitar and drums and played for several benefits in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Clidenna Thatcher. Survivors include two sisters, Regina McDaniel and husband, Maurice and Cinda Reynolds and husband, Tim, all of Pleasanton, Kansas. Graveside Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas.
