VICKI BRUNER Vicki Jolene Bruner, age 51, of Mound City, Kansas, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Prescott Country View Nursing Home. She was born May 22, 1957 in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Virgil and Freda Mathews Bruner. Vicki graduated from Jayhawk Linn High School and attended beautician school and had worked as a beautician. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pleasanton. She was preceded in death by her father Virgil. She is survived by her mother, Freda Bruner of Mound City, Kansas; a daughter, Jami Breuel and fiancé Damon Leonard of Stilwell, Kansas; two Brothers Vance Bruner and wife Debbie and Van Bruner and wife Chilesa all of Mound City, Kansas. Services for Vicki Bruner will be at 11:00 AM Saturday January 31, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service at the First Baptist Church in Mound City, Kansas. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Mound City, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Vicki Bruner Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home.
