Vernon Miller

Vernon Isaac Miller, 28, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, formerly of Mound City, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012. He was born April 14, 1983 at Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Edward Issac and Stephanie Alderman Miller. He was employed with Chile's Restaurant in Bartlesville. Vernon loved kids, enjoyed music and was strong in the Lord. He is survived by his father, Harry Barentine; his mother and step-father, Stephanie and David Elliott; a step son Shannon Wright Miller, three brothers, Jacob Rank, Jeromy Esgar and Jeff Pope; five sisters; Dustie Miller, Becky Barentine, Rachel Watts, Sarah Barentine and Andrea Elliott and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, February 20, 2012 at Mapleton Cemetery, Mapleton, Kansas. Family and friends are to gather at the Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton Chapel at 1 PM until departure for the cemetery.
