Tex Henry Wills, 78, of Mound City, Kansas, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas. He was born December 6, 1929 in Albion, Indiana, the son of Chester and Linnie Jo Hildinger Wills. He married Marjorie Moody on November 17, 1950 in California. He was employed as a union carpenter and was also a jeweler. He was a member of the Carpenters Union and the Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran, serving with the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold "Bus" Wills and Lowell Thomas "Bee" Wills. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of the home; three daughters, Lynnda Blitzer & Ron of Santa Barbara, California; Cynndy Sillman & George of Redondo Beach, California and Paula Griffitts & Mike of Los Angeles, California; and three grandchildren, Matthew Blitzer, Michelle Griffitts and Katie Hendrickson. Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Visiation will be Tuesday, from 7:00 to 8:30PM, at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Shriners Children's Hospital c/o the funeral home. Interment will be in the National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas.
