Steven Heikkila

Steven William "Steve" Heikkila, age 60, of Linn Valley, Kansas passed away on Tuesday April 8, 2014. He was born on September 24, 1953 at Hurley, Wisconsin the son of William and Virginia Polso Heikkila. After graduation from high school, Steve received a Bachelor''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University and began a career in the oil industry. He married Patsy Hamann. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and watching wildlife. He was preceded in death by a brother David. He is survived by his wife, Patsy, parents, William and Virginia Heikkila, children: Matt Heikkila, Eric Heikkila, Chrissy Heikkila and Jenny Furrey, a brother, Jeff Heikkila and grandchildren: Ella, Ben, Macey, Mara, Kasen, Chloe, Claire and Max. Memorial service will be held 2 PM Sunday April 13, 2014 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, LaCygne Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to service time at the chapel.
