Stella Margarette Hunter Dale

Stella Margarette Hunter Dale, age 90, of Independence, Missouri formerly of La Cygne, Kansas passed away Friday May 24, 2024. She was born in Calgary Alberta Canada on June 20, 1933, the daughter of Victor and Ollie Webster Hunter. Stell was united in marriage to Robert "Lewis" Dale on August 20, 1975. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2019. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in La Cygne. She was also preceded in death by her sister Priscilla Hunter, and five brothers, Orville Hunter, Freeman Hunter, Evert Hunter, Murrel Hunter, and Gerald Hunter, two nephews, John Hunter and Charles Hunter, and a niece Nancy Hunter Williams.
Stella is survived by nieces and nephews, Orlene Hunter Hess, Freeman Hunter, Vicky Hunter, Cheryl Hunter George, Susan Hunter, Ben Hunter, David Hunter, Mary Hunter Carnal, and other extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cadmus Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to service time Tuesday at the La Cygne Chapel. Online condolences can be left at www.schmeiderfunerals.com
