Sherry Conner

Sherry Sue Conner, age 44, Prescott, Kansas passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 2, 1971 at Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of David and Peggy Ann Kieffer Walters. She attended grade school in Baldwin, Kansas and graduated from Olathe North High School. She married Bryan Conner on August 29, 1998 at Stilwell, Kansas. She enjoyed reading, fishing, dancing, country music and attending her daughter, Lenzie, activities. She was preceded in death by her father, David Walters, and a step brother, Jeff Dinges. She is survived by her husband, Bryan, daughter Lenzie Conner, mother and step father, Peggy and Harold Dinges, brother, Tony Walters, three sisters: Kimberly Andrus, Brenda Melvin, and Carol Walters, step brothers, J.R. and James Dinges and step sisters, Rene Randall and Carla Bowen. Sherry is also survived by multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Graveside funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Prescott, Kansas Cemetery. Pot luck dinner to follow at Tony and Angie Walters, 22002 E. 125th, Fulton, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Lenzie Conner Education Fund.
