SHARON JOHNSON Sharon Johnson, 62, of Mound City, Kansas, formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Friday, April 07, 2006 at Louisburg Care Center, Louisburg, Kansas. She was born August 13, 1943 at Trading Post, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Daisy Rittinghouse Purdy. She graduated from Pleasanton High School. She worked for Braemoors and Key Industries. On July 1, 1995, she married John Johnson. She was a member of the Wall Street Christian Church, Mound City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by one brother, Buford Purdy. Survivors include her husband, John of the home; one daughter, Tammy Pruitt of Norfolk, Nebraska; one sister, Geneva Jennings of Pleasanton, Kansas; two brothers, Jerry & Russell Purdy, both of Pleasanton, Kansas; twenty three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1;00 PM, Monday, April 10, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Sunday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Midland Hospice. Interment will be in Pleasanton Cemetery.
