Shaner Ross

Shaner Ross, age 94, LaCygne, Kansas passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Prescott Country View Nursing Home. He was born on November 4, 1917 at LaCygne the son of Richard and Mary Farris Ross. He married Mildred Croghan on December 18, 1954. She preceded him in death on June 8, 1998. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Shaner was the last of thirteen children. He is survived by three sons: Scott Ross and Debra of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, William Ross and Linda of LaCygne, Kansas, and Charles Ross and Mary Lou of Springfield, Missouri, one daughter, Cindy McIntosh and Bruce of LaCygne, six grand and seven great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaCygne. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, LaCygne, Chapel.
