Scott Owings

Scott Dale Owings, age 45, Parker, Kansas died Thursday October 16, 2008. He was born on November 1, 1962 at Kansas City, Missouri the son of Richard Dudley and Donna Jean Bottrell Owings. He graduated from Prairie View High School in 1981. He served in the United States Navy. He currently attended New Life Baptist Church in LaCygne, Kansas. Scott owned and operated DMB Drywall. He married Valerie Lewis on June 7, 2008. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lori Owings. He is survived by his wife Valerie of the home, two sons, Dale Owings of Manhattan, Kansas, and Matthew Owings of Parker, Kansas, one daughter, Brittany Owings of Parker, a step son Rhett Griffin of Spring Hill, Kansas and two step daughters, Madie and Maxie Griffin both of Parker. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Sunday October 19, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 PM.
