Scoop Phillips

F. G. "Scoop" Phillips, 60, Overland Park, Kansas, died Friday, January 11, 2008 at Manor Care in Overland Park. He was born April 25, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of F. Gorodess Phillips Jr. and Mary Forshay Phillips. He was employed as a clerk with Kinkos. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Mary Phillips of Lenexa, Kansas; two brothers, James D. Phillips of San Francisco, California and Mark E. Phillips & Terri of Alexandria, Virginia; one nephew, Steven Phillips and a great nephew, Jackson Keim Mr. Phillips was cremated. A memorial gathering will be held 3 PM Friday January 18 at Santa Fe Towers, 8101 Santa Fe Dr, Overland Park.
