Samuel Hargrove

Samuel James Hargrove, age 20, Mound City, Kansas died Saturday October 15, 2011. He was born December 29, 1990 at Kansas City, Kansas the son of James Benjamin Hargrove and Lu Ann Matheney. Sam graduated from Jayhawk Linn High School Class of 2009. He was currently attending Johnson County Community College studying computer engineering, and was also a member of the JCCC Honor Society. Sam had been accepted to enroll for the Fall 2012 semester at Kansas State University. He worked part time for UPS. Sam was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by Mother, Lu Ann Hargrove, his father, Jim Hargrove, brother, Luther Hargrove and wife Selena; sisters, Hannah Elliott and husband Josh, Samara Bruce and husband Pat and Emma Hargrove, maternal grandparents Harry and Betty Matheney, and paternal grandmother Doris Hargrove, and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday October 21, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mound City, Kansas. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery near Mound City. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:30 PM Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City. The family suggests contributions to the Sam Hargrove Memorial Fund, c/o Coffel-Schneider, P.O.
