Ruth York

Ruth R. York, age 85, LaCygne, Kansas died Thursday March 3, 2011 at the Olathe Medical Center. She was born in Miami County, Kansas on December 3, 1925 the daughter of Donald and Edna LaRosh Long. She was married to Donald York who preceded her in death in 1972. Also preceding her were two brothers Paul and Robert. Ruth was a member of the LaCygne United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Larry York of LaCygne, Kansas, one brother Don Long, one sister Carol Heald, two grandchildren, Michelle and Cindy York and two great grandchildren, Tyler Baham and Garrett Casida. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday March 8, 2011 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel in LaCygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Louisburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until service time at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Billy Graham Ministries.
