Roy Felix Sr

Roy A. Felix Sr., age 76, of Pleasanton, Kansas died Saturday March 1, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. He was born on September 11, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Antonio and Mildred Hare Felix. Roy worked as a truck driver for Roadway Express before retirement. He married Margaret Green on August 17, 1950 at Kansas City, Kansas. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2006. Also preceding him were two sisters, Lucille Richardson and Pauline Oropeza. Roy was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church and the Teamsters Union. He is survived by a son Roy Felix Jr. of Prescott, Kansas, three daughters: Regina Hamilton of Mound City, Kansas, Lutricia Felix and Paula McClintock both of Kansas City, Kansas, six brothers: Richard, Robert, Raymond, Dean, Frank Felix all of Kansas City, Kansas and Carmello Felix of El Paso, Texas, one sister Mildred Winters of Pleasanton, ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday March 5, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Kansas. Burial will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
