Ronald Reed

Ronald Dean Reed, 69, of Pleasanton, Kansas died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Medicalodge South, Pittsburg, Kansas. He was born July 25, 1938 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the son of Thomas & Ester Dollar Reed. He graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1956. He was a veteran, serving with the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Reed of Moberly, Missouri and Nathan Reed of Lawrence, Kansas; one daughter, Amanda Reed of Topeka, Kansas; one brother, Tom Reed of Pleasanton, Kansas; one sister, June Edgar of Austin, Texas and four grandchildren, Emma, Harrison, Jami & Joshua. Mr. Reed was cremated. Arrangements for a memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. Contributions are suggested to the Harry Hines Hospice.
