Roberta Layton

Roberta Louise Layton, 72, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at her home. She was born February 15, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Lester and Minnie McKaine Smith. She was married to Donald Layton in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1976. Roberta was a homemaker. She was preceded in death also by two brothers, Sonny and Charles Lester Smith. Survivors include four sons; Elmer Moore & Nancy of Pleasanton, Kansas, David Moore & Debbie of Paola, Kansas, Timothy Moore and Cheryl of Paragould, Arkansas and Dennis Moore of Kansas City, Kansas; three sisters, Shirly Henry of Salina, Kansas, Johana Luce of Kansas City, Kansas and Dixie Smith of Elsmore, Kansas; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
