Robert Vankirk

Robert Leon VanKirk, 58, of Prescott, Kansas, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at his home. He was born December 23, 1950 in Linn County, Kansas, the son of Harold and Christina Lloyd VanKirk. He graduated from Pleasanton High School. He was employed with Peerless Products. Robert served in the United States Arms Forces during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pam Stevens. Survivors include one brother, William VanKirk & wife, Diane of Mound City, Kansas and one sister, Donna Hazel, also of Mound City, Kansas. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. There will be a time to visit with family following the service.
