Robert Robbins

Robert William Robbins, age 81 of Mound City, Kansas died Monday January 17, 2011 at the St. Joseph Medical Center at Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on January 30, 1929 at Boicourt, Kansas the son of Walter and Myrtle Weaver Robbins. Robert was an Untied State Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean War. He married Bernita Reynolds on November 29, 1951 at Mound City, Kansas. Robert worked for the railroad, Linn County, and Kansas Fish and Game all while cattle ranching for himself. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Fred, Donald, and John Robbins, six sisters, Leneta Appleby, Pauline Cromiller, Freida Fouts, Clarissa Stark, Dorothy Holt, and Bethetta Robbins. He is survived by his wife Bernita of Mound City, Kansas, and a son R L Robbins of Mound City, Kansas. Service will be held at 1: oo Pm Friday January 21, 2011 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 Pm Thursday January 20, 2011 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Mound City, Kansas. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery near LaCygne, Kansas.
