Robert L. "Bob" Laudan, 76, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at Fort Scott Manor Nursing Home, Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born September 18, 1932 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the son of John and Hazel Largent Laudan. He was a graduate of Pleasanton High School and a veteran, serving with the United States Army. His Grandma Laudan and his father were very instrumental in his upbringing. He married Joyce Marshall who preceded him in death in 2004. Robert was a member of the Prince of Peace Church, Eureka, Kansas. He enjoyed hunting. He was preceded in death also by a son, Johnny Laudan, an infant daughter, Wendy Laudan and a brother, Bill Laudan. Survivors include one brother, Fred Laudan of Pleasanton, Kansas and one sister, Vickie Nichols, Prescott, Kansas, and a sister-in-law, Olivia Laudan of Pleasanton, Kansas. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, Thursday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Residencies of Pleasanton. Interment will be in Green Valley Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com.
