Robert Franklin

Robert Eugene Franklin, 55, of LaCygne, Kansas died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at his home. He was born October 23, 1952 in Chanute, Kansas, the son of Robert Lee and Frances Ilene Tripp Franklin. He married Cindy Spanier on March 1, 2001. Robert was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kenneth Ray Franklin. Survivors include his wife, Cindy of the home; one son, Robert E. Lee Franklin; one brother, Howard Russell Franklin, two sisters, Judy Beasley and Linda Spader; step-children, Roy Arnold, Sheryl Bolton, Heather Beerbower, Benny Arnold, Anthony Nichelson, Jason Nichelson and Patrick Nickelson; nieces & nephews, Deanna Blethen, Danny Spader, Alyssa Spader and Holly Woods; several great nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, LaCygne, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of Kansas.
