Robert Curtis

Robert P. Curtis, age 55, of Blue Mound, Kansas died Sunday June 23, 2013 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1957 at Paola, Kansas the son of Robert and Dora Clay Curtis. Robert attended the Blue Mound Federated Church, loved fishing and horses, spending time in his shop tinkering with things, and just being outside working on different jobs. He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandparents; Henry and Wilma Clay, paternal grandparents; Ruben and Hazel Curtis, and a infant sister Mary Curtis. He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home, two sons; Steven Curtis and Kelsey of Ottawa, Kansas and Seth Jackson and Amanda of Blue Mound, Kansas two daughters; Mandy Arvizu and Albert of Fort Scott, Kansas, and Hannah Mckee and Kodee of Pleasanton, Kansas, eight grandchildren with one on the way, and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday July 1, 2013 at the Blue Mound Federated Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery in Blue Mound. The Family suggests contributions to the Blue Mound Public Library. Arrangements: Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory Mound City Chapel.
