Richard Melton

Richard Ruben Melton, age, 65 of Fort Scott, Kansas formerly of Blue Mound, Kansas died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at the Fort Scott Manor. He was born on January 29, 1947 in Cherokee County, Kansas. Richard was a Veteran serving his country with the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a truck driver. He was Married to Carolyn Delancy she preceded him in death. He is survived by a son Terry Melton and wife Donna;a step daughter Angie Hays and boyfriend Darren Hathaway; two step grandchildren; Jacci Hays and Troy Hays II; and a step great granddaughter Lilly Reichmeyer. Per Richards wishes there was cremation and private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements: Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory Mound City Chapel.
