Rex Hale

Rex Lee Hale, age 78, LaCygne, Kansas died Wednesday April 27, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born on December 31, 1932 at Kansas City, Missouri the son of William I. C. and Vivian R. Howard Hale. He graduated from Lee's Summit High and worked as a laborer and mechanic. He married Barbara Wilkes on July 17, 1971 at Lee's Summit, Missouri. Rex was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in LaCygne. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Harold, R. E. and Charles. He is survived by his wife Barbara Hale of the home, a son William Jesse "Bill" Hale and Cindy of Overland Park, Kansas and a daughter Laura Lea Hale of LaCygne. Funeral services will 11 AM Saturday April 30, 2011 at the New Life Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Trading Post Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time at the church.
