Reba "Lavone" Ferguson, 77, of Pleasanton,Kansas died Monday, February 11, 2008 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas. She was born May 25, 1930 at Mound City, Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Wilda Belle Henderson Bartlett. She graduated from Mound City High School. She married Jack Ferguson on October 29, 1950 at Mound City, Kansas. Lavone was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mound City. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Jack Ferguson of Pleasanton, Kansas; two daughters, Tracie Pruitt of Prescott,Kansas and Larry Pruitt of Marion, Virginia and Laurie Mauro and husband, Michael of Golden, Colorado; one sister, Mary Williamson of Livingston, Texas and three grandchildren, Katie and Evan Pruitt and Hanah Mauro. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 14, 208 at the First Baptist Church, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Lupus Foundation. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Mound City.
