Raymond Dale Smutley Howard, age 74, LaCygne, Kansas died Wednesday February 9, 2012 in Pleasanton, Kansas. He was born on May 22, 1937 at Kansas City, Kansas the son of Orville and Florence Morris Howard. He worked for Johnson County Waste Water and operated a tree trimming service. He was a Christian, was the founding member of FORR, Freedom Of Road Riders, and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is survived by daughters, April Winters, Mayme Miller and Larry, a son Steve Clark and Sam , a niece Carol Nichols and Jimmy and several grand and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM Saturday February 11, 2012 at the Schneider Funeral Home, LaCygne Chapel. Cremation will follow visitation. A memorial celebration of Smutley's life will be held later this summer. Contributions are suggested to Smutley's Grandchildren Fund, c/o, Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box 304, LaCygne, Kansas 66040.
