Raymond Joseph Finland, 85, of Pleasanton, Kansas died Tuesday, May 14, 2008 at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born June 14, 1922 in Dixon, Illinois, the son of Raymond P. and Eva Brown Finland. He married Juanita L. "Peg" Dulin, January 1989. Raymond worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for Bristol-Myers Squibb, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Hewitt-New Post #248 of Mound City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Raymond Finland and a daughter, Janet Finland. Survivors include his wife, Peg of the home; one daughter, Patty Finland of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren, including Kimberly ; and nieces & nephews, John Chesley, Linda Bechtel and Christine Krischak. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 3-4 PM, Sunday at the chapel.
