Raymond Roy Bledsoe, 72, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Monday, November 21, 2005 at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born May 5, 1933 in Shell City, Missouri, the son of Henry and Nettie Wyrick Bledsoe. He was married to Kay Hoffman on November 16, 1984 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Raymond was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. He worked as a welder for Thorco Manufacturing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Kay, of Pleasanton, Kansas; three sons; Dennis Bledsoe of Wichita, Kansas and Raymond Bledsoe Jr. and Billy Bledsoe, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Ranae Nimerick of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Pamela Glass of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one step son, Stacy Base and a step daughter, Shelly; four brothers, Don and Everett Bledsoe, both of Wichita, Kansas, Robert Bledsoe of Fort Scott, Kansas and Howard Bledsoe of Troutville, Pennsylvania; one sister, Violet Carroll of Rich Hill, Missouri and five grandchildren. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2005 at the Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas.
