Pearl Russell, 87, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 19, 2007 at Prescott Countryview Nursing Home. She was born January 5, 1920 in Colorado, the daughter of Jesse and Lila Watson Hall. She was a rural school teacher, worked for Keiser and also gave art lessons. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jack Hall; one sister, Lilah Lindsey and a grandson, Ryan Russell. Survivors include two sons; Allan Russell & Sue of Pleasanton, Kansas and Charles Nick Russell & Tammy of Discovery Bay, California; one sister, Dorothy Miller; a brother-in-law, Glen Lindsey; four grandchildren, Luke, Eric, Scott and Amanda and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the Coffel-Schneider chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Ryan Russell Scholarship Fund or the Residencies of Pleasanton.
