Pauline Armstrong

Pauline Ellen Armstrong, age 93, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Monday November 25, 2013. She was born on November 15, 1920 at Pleasanton, Kansas the daughter of William J. and Ruby Bruce Saunders. She graduated from Pleasanton High School in the Class of 1939. She married Joe Franklin on March 14, 1941. To this union two children were born, Clark and Joanne. Joe preceded her in death on July 8, 1963. She later married David Armstrong on July 1, 1968. He preceded her in death in 1982. Also preceding were her son, Clark and four sisters: Sylvia Woodburn, Ruth Waring, Wilma Mullies and Edith McMillan. She is survived by her daughter Joanne Cooke and husband Andy, and two grandchildren, Alan and Beth Cooke. Memorial service will be held 4 PM Saturday November 30, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Visitation will be held from 3 PM to service time at the Chapel.
