Paul A. Helmuth, 58, died Tuesday, October 20, while playing his favorite sport- hockey.
Paul was a software developer for Cardiovascular Imaging Technologies in Kansas City. He is survived by
his wife of 24 years, Melissa Wurtz, mother Alice Helmuth, brothers James Helmuth (Dana), David Helmuth and sister Alice Christopher (Matthew) and
nephews Ian Helmuth (Hiromi), Patrick Christopher (Emelen), nieces Alison Christopher, Isabel Christopher, Katie Helmuth, Tristian Wurtz (Brandon Smith), and Jenae Daniels(Adam).
Paul had many interests- playing hockey with KC team for 25 years, watching NHL Red Wings, scuba diving and underwater photography, playing guitar, watchmaking, shooting with SASS and Modern 3 Gun. Pail loved learning in general.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 30 at 10 a.m. and memorial service at 11 at Monticello United Methodist Church in Shawnee. The service will be livestreamed through monticello-umc.org.
