Patricia Pennington

Patricia Ann Pennington, age 84 of Linn Valley, Kansas died Tuesday October 26, 2010 at her home. She was born November 23, 1925 at Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Chauncey and Ruth Rickard Rucker. She was a graduate of North High School in Wichita, Kansas. She married Robert Pennington on February 22, 1948 at Wichita, Kansas; he preceded her in death on November 4, 2002. She worked as a bookkeeper for several different companies. She was a member of the Linn Valley Community Church, Linn Valley Auxiliary, Eastern Star, and a foster grandparent with the LaCygne Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Bill Rucker. Survivors include two sons; Brad Pennington and wife Diana of Linn Valley, Brent Pennington and wife Wanita of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday October 29 at the Linn Valley Community Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Thursday October, 28 at Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home LaCygne, Kansas, and from 9:30 AM to service time Friday at the Church. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday October 29, 2010 at the Wichita Park Cemetery Wichita, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Linn Valley Community Church.
