Pamela Stevens

Pamela K. Stevens, 53, of Mound City, Kansas, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at her home. She was born January 6, 1955 in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Christina Lloyd VanKirk. She worked as an EMT for Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas. Pamela was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mound City. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one son, Shannon Stevens of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Kristy Stevens of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Bob VanKirk of Prescott, Kansas and Bill VanKirk & Diane of Mound City, Kansas and one sister, Donna Hazel of Mound City, Kansas. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 29, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas.
