Norma Edgar

Norma June Edgar, age 91, Austin, Texas formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the West Oaks Nursing Facility. She was born at Pleasanton on July 16, 1925 the daughter of Thomas and Ester Dollar Reed. She graduated from Pleasanton High School and went on to Secretarial School in Kansas City. She married Paul Edgar who preceded her in death on April 7, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a brother Ronald Reed and a sister Elizabeth "Libby" Heinz. She is survived by her son Roger Reed Edgar and wife Patricia, a brother Tom Reed and wife Annette, and three grandchildren: Clare, Corinna and Ethan Edgar. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Schneider Funeral Home Pleasanton Chapel. Burial to follow in the Pleasanton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am to service time at the Schneider Chapel. The family suggests contributions to West Oaks Activity Fund.
