Nina Gunset

Nina Dell Gunset, 96, of Hume, Missouri, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Prescott Countryview Nursing Home, Prescott, Kansas. She was born July 31, 1912 in Butler, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Josephine Morgan Jones. She married Brice Gunset on August 2, 1936 at Butler, Missouri. He preceded her in death in March of 1991. Nina was a homemaker. She lived in the same house in Hume, Missouri from 1942 until going into the nursing home in 2005. She helped Brice collect township taxes out of their home for many years. She had many friends and she was always pleasant in good and bad times. She was preceded in death also by her parents; one son, George Gunset (twin brother of Gerald); one brother, and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Gerald Gunset & wife, Eloise of Snyder, Texas and James Gunset of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Hume Cemetery, Hume, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, Wednesday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Hume, Missouri. Contributions are suggested to the charity of choice.
