Nadine Ison

Nadine Ison, 88, of Mound City, Kansas, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her home. She was born May 17, 1923 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Ellen Walje Hall. She married Morris Ison on February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death March 14, 2005. Nadine worked as a bookkeeper for Braemoor prior to her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mound City, also the UMW and O.E.S. She enjoyed reading, crocheting playing cards and doing puzzles and crossword puzzles. Survivors include two sons; David Ison and Lois of Berryton, Kansas and Marty Ison and Meredith of Mound City, Kansas; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the United Methodist Church, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Mound City UMC. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
