Minda Clay

Minda Sue Clay, age 61, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2011 at the Manor Care in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born on February 26, 1950 at Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of Howard and Evelyn Beacham McDaniel. She married Henry Clay on August 31, 1979. To this union, two daughters were born. Minda Sue enjoyed reading, fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Henry Clay of Overland Park, Kansas, two daughters, Rebecca Thomas and Justin, and Nancy Clay all of Freeman, Missouri; five brothers: David, Robert, Richard, John and Carl McDaniel; and two sisters, Lori Cook and Tina McDaniel, five grandchildren and others she considered her own. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City, Kansas. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 PM until service time at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
