May Cash

May Alice Cash, 96, of Mound City, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Golden Heights Living Center, Garnett, Kansas. She was born May 17, 1908 in Mound City, Kansas, the daughter of Henry Harrison and Lillie Edna Akers Augur. She graduated from Mound City High School in 1931. She married Cecil Cash on April 22, 1931. He preceded her in death on February 21, 1990. May was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church, Mound City; Mound City Senior Citizens and the Busy Dozen Club. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Lester Augur and three grandchildren. Survivors include one son; Henry Cash of Kansas City, Missouri; four daughters; Wilma McIntosh and Mary Fagg, both of Garnett, Kansas; Lillian Cash of Scammon, Kansas and Colleen Troth of Pleasanton, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
