Maxine Lyon Henty, born December 26, 1933, passed away May 8, 2010. Beloved wife of Joseph; mother of Lisa (David) Brooks, Liz (Craig) Travis, John (Molly) Lyon; stepmother of Joi (Bill) Goodbread, Jeff (Brenda) Henty; grandmother of Amanda (Jake) Wade, James (Nicole) Brooks, Elizabeth Brooks, Tyler and Kristen Travis, Jake and Nate Henty; great grandmother of Jenna, Joshua and Allyson Wade, Landon and Paris Brooks; dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and beloved friend to many. She was an active member of Salem United Methodist church, volunteered for a number of organizations including Kingdom House. She was a supporter of the St. Louis Zoo, Science Center, Art Museum, and the Botanical Gardens. Maxine loved gardening and was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan attending whenever possible which she indoctrinated her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services: Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12th at Salem United Methodist Church in Ladue, 1200 S.
