Matthew Murphy

Matthew Eric Murphy, age 24, of Overland Park, Kansas died Friday January 18, 2008. He was born on November 29, 1983 the son of Pat and Janet Zeigler Murphy. He attended St Agnes Elementary School and Shawnee Mission North High School. He was preceded in death by his father Pat Murphy, paternal grandparents, Wallace and Margaret Murphy, maternal grandparents, Milo and Catherine Zeigler, an aunt, Peggy "Murphy" Nicholas, and an uncle Bill Zeigler. He is survived by his mother Janet Horine and husband Phil of Kansas City, Missouri, a brother Michael Murphy and son Spencer of Overland Park, Kansas, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday January 22, 2008 at the Woodland Cemetery in Mound City, Kansas. Friends and relatives may gather Tuesday from 10 AM until service time at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd.
