Mary Meyers

Mary Faye Meyers, age 79, formerly of Blue Mound, Kansas passed away on Thursday August 22, 2013. She was born on June 15, 1934 in Linn County, Kansas the daughter of Fay and Hazel Horton McDonald. She graduated from Blue Mound High School. She was a member of the Blue Mound Federated Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph Miller and Joseph Meyers, infant daughter, Janet, brother, Robert McDonald and grandson, Kyle Darnell. She is survived by four daughters: Karin Miller, Kate Miller, Carol Ross, and Carla Darnell, three sisters: Barbara Hicks, Diana Igo, and Judy Gonnerman, seven grand children: Kirby, Andrea, Kurt, Amanda, Cameron, Samantha and Cassandra, and seven great grandchildren: Mary, Matthew, Alexia, Issabella, Reagan, Makayla and George. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday August 27, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Burial in the Sunny Slope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to service time at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Blue Mound Library, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box J, Mound City, KS 66056.
