Mary Keller

Mary Frances Keller, 69, of Lake Chaparral, died at 6:35 am, Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Olathe Medical Center after a long illness. Mary was born February 14, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Henry F. and Rose Mary (Sheley) Stimpfel. Mary attended Satin Benedictine for a time. She was active in the Women's Auxiliary of Lake Chaparral teaching crafts and painting. Mary also enjoyed drawing, crocheting, jewelry making, and in her younger years racing cars with her husband Robert C. Keller whom she married on august 25, 1979 in Lenexa, Kansas. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include three daughters, Mary E. Haws and husband Albert of Hiawatha, Kansas, Rebecca S. Haller and husband Mike of Topeka, Kansas, and Christine A. Cooley of Osawatomie, Kansas; one brother, Hank B. Stimpfel of Belton, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. A private family gathering will take place. The family suggests memorials to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory of Pleasanton is in charge of arrangements.
