Mary Bush

Mary Norbury Bush, 99, of Prescott Country View Nursing Home, formerly of Hume, Missouri, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Country View Nursing Home. She was born February 22, 1906 in rural Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of Edward and Bessie Van Hoozer Norbury. She graduated from Hugh High School in 1925 and moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1927. She was married to William P. Bush, December 6, 1936 and lived most of her life in Wichita. In later years, she lived in California and Washington. Mary was a charter member of the West Link Christian Church in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, Edna Dunnington, Lanita Mahler & Edith Martin; three brothers, Edward & Leon Norbury and an infant brother; two nephews; one niece and one step-son. Mary is survived by two sisters, Ann Holmes of Fort Scott, Kansas and Lavon Liles of Prescott, Kansas and two step-sons; John Bush of Wichita, Kansas and Donald Bush of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the Hume Cemetery, Hume, Missouri. There is no formal visitation. Contributions are suggested to the Country View Nursing Home or Hume Cemetery.
