Marvin will be remembered as a kind, calm, and gregarious man who was beloved by a large and far flung group of friends and family. He was deeply spiritual, endlessly curious, and a joy to be around. Marvin served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam and became a lifelong advocate for peace, justice and government that is fair and limited. His hobbies included a robust catalog of outdoor activities, from kayaking and boating, to playing as much golf as possible. He also enjoyed any activity that enabled him to spend time with his multitude of friends, whether playing games like backgammon, cards, or boules, or watching college and professional sports.
