Marvin Cole

Marvin Wilbert Cole, age 93, LaCygne, Kansas died Monday May 3, 2010 at Life Care Center in Osawatomie, Kansas. He was born on August 5, 1916 at Paola, Kansas the son of Pete and Clara Loftis Cole. He married Alta Bergman on April 1, 1936 at Paola, Kansas. He worked as a car man for the Missouri Pacific Railroad before retirement. He is survived by his wife Alta of the home. Also surviving include, two sons, Maynard Cole and Dora of Excelsior Spring, Missouri and Melvin Cole and Kathy of Olathe, Kansas, a daughter Marie Stillwagon of Orinda, California, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Isaac and Ray Cole. Graveside funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday May 6, 2010 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, LaCygne, Kansas.
